Recently, our factory achieved a major breakthrough in the research, development, and production of thermally modified wood. After months of dedicated effort by our technical team, two premium materials—pine and rubberwood—have been officially added to our thermally modified wood product portfolio. Among these, thermally modified rubberwood, leveraging innovations in odor control technology and its core advantage of matching the quality of natural teak, has achieved large-scale production and received bulk orders. thermally modified pine has also successfully entered the furniture and home improvement markets through performance optimization. The launch of these two new products not only demonstrates our factory's technical prowess in eco-friendly modified wood but also lays a solid foundation for expanding into the high-end wood processing sector.(China thermo Rubberwood Factory)

During the development of thermally modified rubberwood, our factory addressed the common issues of mold susceptibility and insect infestation in traditional rubberwood by abandoning chemical-based treatments. We independently developed a purely physical high-temperature thermal modification process. Through repeated adjustments of critical parameters like temperature and duration, we not only completely resolved decay issues caused by rubberwood's natural starch content (around 10%) and free sugars (1%-2%), but also collaborated with professional testing agencies. Using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry coupled with an odor analyzer, we precisely identified 5-methylfurfural as the key odor compound affecting product experience. Building on this discovery, we further optimized production processes to launch our “zero-additive” thermally modified rubberwood products. With long-term moisture content stabilized at 8%-12%, these planks adapt to northern dry climates while emitting natural wood fragrance, completely eliminating consumer concerns about odor. Currently, this thermally modified rubberwood has been successfully processed into teak-colored and black walnut-colored carbonized flooring. Its mirror-like smooth texture rivals that of natural teak, the “King of Woods.” The first batch of bulk orders has been shipped and received high recognition from customers.(Shandong thermo Timber wood Wholesale)

Our factory's flagship product, thermally modified pine developed in parallel, addresses market demands. Recognizing traditional pine's susceptibility to moisture-induced warping and weak preservative properties, our technical team conducted hundreds of trials to precisely optimize high-temperature modification parameters. This resulted in comprehensive performance enhancements: dimensional stability improved by over 30%, significantly strengthened resistance to decay and insects, while fully preserving pine's natural grain aesthetics. This upgraded thermally modified pine finds broad applications in furniture manufacturing—such as dining tables and wardrobes—as well as home improvement scenarios like wall paneling and flooring installation. We have secured cooperation agreements with three renowned furniture enterprises and are poised to commence mass production, offering the home improvement market a cost-effective, eco-friendly timber solution.

As a company dedicated to eco-friendly wood processing, our factory has always adhered to the principle of “driving industrial upgrading through technological innovation.” From introducing thermally modified wood production equipment to establishing a 20-member R&D team and implementing a comprehensive quality inspection system, we continuously overcome technical challenges. The successful mass production of thermally modified pine and rubberwood not only signifies our manufacturing processes reaching industry-leading standards but also completes our full-chain layout “from raw material processing to finished product application.” Currently, our thermally modified wood production line has achieved full domestic manufacturing capability, with an annual capacity of 5,000 cubic meters. This not only reduces the domestic solid wood flooring industry's reliance on imported timber but also injects new momentum into regional wood processing development.

Moving forward, we plan to further expand production capacity for thermally modified pine and rubberwood while developing customized products for niche markets such as hotel renovations and outdoor landscaping. Future investments in R&D will drive broader applications of thermally modified wood, delivering high-quality, eco-friendly solutions.
