The initial measured thicknesses were:

• Bamboo Scent Board: 17.82 mm

After 7 days of water exposure under the same comparative test conditions, the measured thicknesses were:

• Conventional Particle Board: 24.83 mm
• Conventional Multi-Layer Board: 20.35 mm
• Bamboo Scent Board: 19.78 mm

Thickness Change After 7 Days

The comparative results show that the Bamboo Scent Board experienced substantially less thickness expansion than the particle board sample under the same test conditions. Compared with the particle board sample, the thickness expansion of the Bamboo Scent Board was reduced by approximately 72.6% in this comparative test.

Compared with the multi-layer board sample, the Bamboo Scent Board also showed lower thickness expansion, with approximately 21.8% less thickness increase under the same test conditions.

Another Water-Resistance Comparison

In another comparative water-resistance test, conventional moisture-resistant melamine particle board showed approximately 14% thickness expansion after 6 hours, while the LINKEDIN WOODWORK Bamboo Scent Board showed approximately 4% thickness expansion under the same test conditions.

This comparison demonstrates the potential advantage of the Bamboo Scent Board in applications where resistance to occasional moisture exposure and reduced panel swelling are important.
