Surface paper: Located in the uppermost layer of the decorative board, it plays the role of protecting the decorative paper. It can make the surface of the board after heating and pressurizing highly transparent and hard and wear-resistant. Decorative paper: i.e. wood grain paper, is an important part of the decorative board, with or without a base color, printed into a variety of patterns. Placed under the surface paper, mainly for decorative purposes, the paper is required to have good covering power, impregnation and printing performance.

Covering paper: also called titanium white paper, generally in the manufacture of light-colored decorative panels, placed under the decorative paper, to prevent the bottom layer of phenolic resin through to the surface, the main role is to cover the color of the substrate surface spots, need to have good coverage. The surface paper, decorative paper and covering paper are usually impregnated with melamine resin.

Strong abrasion resistance: the surface hardness is large, which can effectively resist the friction and scratching in daily use and prolong the service life.
Good heat resistance: within a certain temperature range, it can maintain stable performance, and is not easy to be deformed and discolored due to temperature changes.

General chemical resistance: it can resist general acid, alkali, grease and alcohol and other solvents, but does not resist strong chemical corrosion.
Smooth and clean surface: easy to clean and maintain, dust, stains, etc. are not easy to adhere to, gently wipe to keep clean.

Environmental protection: melamine formaldehyde resin itself contains very low formaldehyde, is environmentally friendly. However, in order to reduce the cost of some products on the market, the melamine formaldehyde resin solution is mixed with urea-formaldehyde adhesive, which will lead to the deterioration of environmental protection. When buying, you need to choose the environmental grade E1 or even E0 products.

Physical stability: the internal structure of the density board substrate is uniform, making melamine density board （China melamine MDF board Manufacture ）material uniform, structural stability; but compared to some boards, moisture resistance is poor, easy to absorb water expansion.
