Linkedin Woodwork Monthly: March 2026 Highlights & Canton Fair Invitation
In March 2026, as spring began to take hold, a company renowned for its craftsmanship in the timber industry achieved a number of significant breakthroughs and saw its efforts bear fruit. From successfully navigating stringent environmental certification standards to the heartfelt preservation of traditional festive customs, and the intensive preparations for the Canton Fair, the company has centred its efforts on ‘green development’ and grounded them in ‘quality assurance’. In doing so, it has comprehensively demonstrated both the hard power and the human touch of wood manufacturing, paving the way for new opportunities in global market collaboration.
A Major Breakthrough in Quality: SGS D4 Adhesive Testing Passed, Further Enhancing International Competitiveness
This month, the company’s core panel products reached a key milestone — successfully passing the SGS D4 adhesive boiling water resistance test. Tested in accordance with the DIN EN 204:2001 standard, the panels underwent boiling water immersion and ageing tests without any cracking or delamination, meeting the EU’s highest water resistance requirements. This achievement not only provides more reliable material solutions for applications such as furniture, outdoor use and high-humidity environments, but also serves as authoritative endorsement for the company’s entry into high-end overseas markets such as Europe and Australia, further strengthening the competitiveness of its wood products in the international market.
Practising Green Responsibility: Environmental Initiatives on Arbor Day to Strengthen a Sustainable Supply Chain
On 12 March, Arbor Day, the company organised a series of environmental activities under the theme ‘Green Panels, Sustainable Future’. During the event, the company actively promoted the concept of sustainable forestry, strengthened FSC traceability management, and advanced energy conservation and consumption reduction in production, compliant raw material procurement, and the implementation of EUDR regulations. From optimising production processes to managing the raw material supply chain, a series of practical measures have been implemented. These not only fulfil the company’s social responsibilities but also establish a comprehensive green timber supply chain system, demonstrating the timber industry’s commitment to green development through concrete actions.
Moments of Warmth and Unity: Celebrating Two Festivals, Strengthening Bonds with Teams and Clients
In March, the Lantern Festival and International Women’s Day coincided, and the company conveyed warmth through a variety of activities. During the Lantern Festival, the team organised fun activities such as riddle-guessing and tasting tangyuan, strengthening a sense of belonging amidst laughter and joy; on International Women’s Day, the company presented festive greetings and exclusive benefits to all female employees, paying tribute to their contributions and dedication to the industry’s development. Meanwhile, overseas clients visited the company in person to discuss cooperation, further deepening long-term partnerships and forging warm bonds in the timber trade.
Production and Management Revitalisation: Enhanced Efficiency and Quality, Accurate Inventory Management to Ensure Delivery
Continuous optimisation and upgrading of production processes have led to a significant reduction in product defect rates through optimised order scheduling logic, improved coordination and efficiency across processes such as heat treatment, cutting and sanding, enhanced equipment inspections, and the implementation of 5S management. This has resulted in improvements in both production capacity and delivery reliability. In terms of inventory management, we have completed the comprehensive sorting and categorisation of all product ranges—including raw materials such as paulownia, pine and rubberwood, as well as finished products like heat-treated boards, eco-friendly boards and walnut-coloured boards—and implemented a ‘production-to-order, rapid response’ model. This ensures efficient and precise order fulfilment, providing our global customers with a more robust supply chain.
